I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and safe and Happy New Year! We had a wonderful time with family and friends. The girls still don't totally get it, but they thoroughly enjoyed unwrapping gifts. As Addie would say "more, more, more". They were very cute and thankful to all for all of their fun presents. They love to play in their new kitchen and have very wild imaginations, cooking, cleaning, setting the table, etc. They think they are so big and like to try to dress themselves like putting on their "coats and boots". They still love their books the most, but this morning we played with play-dough and colored with crayons and markers. Yikes!! Ok, enough babble on with the pictures. Oh, I almost forgot, but Addie did her first independent forward roll on Christmas and has been rolling ever since! Riley tries, but still does a bit of a twist. Too funny, I'll be sure to post a pic. :)

Tis the Season to repeat and repeat
Ho Ho Ho, well it's not quite Christmas yet, but I thought I'd update once before the busy week. We actually had our first Christmas celebration last night with my dad and family. We also went to Breakfast with Santa a few weeks ago with my MOTC, and needless to say they do NOT like Santa. Let me rephrase that, they don't like to be within a foot of him. They liked to point and wave and say ho, ho, ho, and say santa, but once we got up there, no dice. Claws in the neck and tears galore. I'll be sure to post that lovely photo as well. They are talking up a storm these days and be careful what you say, because they will repeat anything and everything. :) They've left the Christmas tree alone, but love to play with the Nativity (breaking the angel within the first 5 minutes of having it out). We also tromped through the woods to get Grammy and Big Papa's Christmas tree. I think they enjoyed the train and tractor rides and funnel cake more than anything. Good times, and I think Christmas will just be the icing on the cake. "More, more, more" as Addie says. It is also a good tool for good behavior while eating out. Soooo, maybe mom and dad will have to wrap little presents every time we want to go out to eat. :) They love to do puzzles and read books and Riley's been practicing her 2 foot shot in the tub. :) I hope this finds everyone well and I wish you all safe travels for the holidays. Merry Christmas!!
