So I know it's been a while, but it hasn't been all my fault. Our home computer was majorly infected and luckily my good friend Katie is a computer whiz and was able to fix it or I would have thrown it in the trash I was so fed up. Whew! We have a lot of catching up to do. We've had Halloween, a shopping trip to the Lake, Thanksgiving and a MU/KU football party. The girls are so fun right now. Running, talking, playing together and involving their "mama" and "daddy" in everything. Riley's getting her fang teeth as we call them and got her first haircut or bangcut Thanksgiving morning. She was none too pleased, I'll post the picture below. Hysterical tears. But back to Halloween, we tried out all of the pumpkin patches around town and in Indiana and I have to say my favorite was Daniels farm and greenhouse which happens to be 5 minutes from our house. The girls had a blast looking for pumpkins, wandering through the hay maze, checking out the farm animals, riding ponies and a train, sliding down slides, riding on tire swings, and did I mention picking out pumpkins. :) So that was fun and we also went to Thiess, but I think that would be more fun for older kids, because it's completely hay and lots of dark and underground play activites. The girls love to play together now. They play house and kitchen, they love little animals and especially reading books. They get their books and then back up into our laps and then it's "more, more, more". Addie babbles more and says lots of words and Riley just says words when she needs to. We had a fun time at the lake shopping with 2 18 month olds, fun, fun. But the girls enjoyed swimming in the pool and checking out the "wawa" and looking at "papa's" boat. Then Brad and I got a weekend away in KC for a friend's wedding which was lots of fun and then back for Thanksgiving at our house. Oh and did I mention the football party today. Poor Mizzou!
